Pollution associated with marine debris is of global ecological concern, as it threatens wildlife and local economies. Submerged alters benthic species composition community characteristics. The study site Jaguri, Jeju Island, where a variety submerged was found, used to investigate the impact on macrobenthic fauna sandy rocky substrates. dominant macrobenthos taxon differed by sediment type; polychaete Armandia lanceolata in bottom environments mollusk Leiosolenus lischkei environments. presence differences biomass both soft areas. without had higher area, nets density animals within debris.
